Get to Know the Breed
By

-
So you want to get a puppy?
-
You would do best to ask
a lot of questions, first, of yourself, and then find as many sources of
information as you can.
-
Breed information can be
found through local veterinarians, professional dog groomers, obedience
training clubs, book stores, libraries, and of course the internet. Contacting
your area kennel club can get you information pertaining to the breed that
you are interested in.
-
In all cases, use your best
judgement. You are making a decision to choose a member of your family.
This family member will be your responsibility for the next ten, twelve
or more years.
-
AKC registration is NOT a guarantee of quality!!!
